If you haven’t done so already, please fill out this google permission form for your child to watch “October Sky” as part of our rocketry unit.
Please check out the 5th grade calendar for some updates! 5th grade will be heading to the Bob Bullock Museum next Tuesday, April 23. Buses depart Hill at 9:00 AM and should arrive at the museum well before our 10:00 AM IMAX screening of "Amazon Adventure 3D". The movie runs for 45 minutes, after which time we will reload the buses and head back to Hill. We'll be back well before our regular lunch time so there is no need to pack a sack lunch for this field trip. The museum does welcome parent chaperones so long as you pay for your own ticket and meet us there. All parents would of course had to have already attended the Hill Parent Volunteer Training. Insect Garden Planting Day is April 27th! 5th grade students are doing a philanthropy project about how to improve the severely reducing insect populations around the world. 5th graders have read about the causes of the decline and have generated responses. 5th grade and Green Team are planting an “insect garden” with native plants that will help the survival of native insects. SAVE THE DATE: April 27th, morning-noon. SIGN UP FOR WORK SPOTS HERE! Note: We will sign off for high school volunteers. Time Running Out To Book A Spot At Summer Dillo Camps!
